June 24, 2010, fifteen people went to Mexico to build a home with Amor Ministries. We did it in four days! The familly that received this home were deeply touched, and we were also. The family, a single mom with two boys aged 9 and 16 were named Rosamaria (Rosie), Saul, and Ceasar.
This is a picture that Saul (pronounced Sa-ool) drew and gave to Sam.

You can see the team working all around the property. The blue shapes were water barrels. They had to be filled by the water truck that cruised the neighborhood. The "B" denotes the bano or bathroom, something of a rarity in this neighborhood. It was needed, as the existing facility (on the map in the upper left corner of the yard) was one of the worst I have seen in Mexico!

Ron and Bonnie Johnson pastored churches in Ollala and Carbonado before becoming missionaries in Trinidad, Aruba and Curacoa. They retired from overseas service in 2000 and joined Missionary Gospel Fellowship where they are home missionaries at Fort Lewis. Their ministry is called South Sound Christian Fellowship.
